But probably some time soon after Sakura, Shirou, and Rider have settled on an apartment and moved in, there's still a lot on Sakura's mind. If she was being honest with herself, as much as she hated to admit having such a terrible thought, she wasn't all that bothered by the idea that their world was possibly destroyed. The world had never treated her kindly after all, and she knows that a little while ago, she would've been glad to hear it. She hates that this is how she feels about it, but it's the truth. With both Shirou and Rider here, there wasn't too much to miss from their world.
Even if the world itself being gone didn't bother her though, the people in it did. Mitsuzuri-senpai, Fujimaru-sensei... Nee-san. Their world might be gone, but they couldn't possibly be gone along with it, right? Rin especially. She was beautiful, smart, talented—why would these people here bring her here but not her sister? Sure, she was trying to catch up with her and improve her own skills (and confidence), but anyone would know that Rin would be more useful to have here.
It's late at night, and Sakura's supposed to be sleeping, but she just can't. After slipping out of the bedroom as quietly as possible, she sits in the living room, thinking over and over on how she could possibly save her older sister. There has to be a way, right? She can't imagine her life and future without Rin in it too.]

There's no proof it's true. Until there's proof we can keep believing what we want to.

There's no way she's gone. [The way Sakura's wringing her hands around her skirt makes him realize he shouldn't even pretend that Rin's managing and everything's fine. He has to face the facts. Neither of them can confirm Rin's saftey.]

[It's some time in the evening when Sakura starts preparing dinner. While it was just a distant, impossible promise at the time, Shirou really did make good on his word about letting her cook for the next six months. Naturally, this makes her pretty happy, and she's in a good mood as she cooks. She's not really sure when Shirou will be getting back from whatever errands he had, but she's not too worried. There's nothing to spoil things right now.
