Once Tohsaka sees you in good spirits she'll get mad at herself for worrying. [That's so like Rin he almost chuckles. He doesn't think he's doing a very good job of comforting Sakura. Shirou said so much and in the end he can't accomplish a lot. Shirou holds Sakura's hand and brings it close to his lap. ]

I wonder what her life is like in London. Tohsaka probably doesn't wake up on time.

[Gripping his hand back, Sakura lets out a small sigh of content before leaning against Shirou. Even if her sister isn't here, Shirou is, and she's happy enough with just that. She'll be able to make it through whatever happens as long as he's there with her, she knows it.]

Nee-san would get mad if she heard that, Senpai. [laughing softly] But I think you're right. I don't know if she'd be allowed to keep dozens of alarm clocks just to wake herself up.

[Oh well. Sakura's happy and that makes Shirou happy too. He really likes seeing her smile this way.]

That smile suits you more. [He feels relief knowing that Sakura's back to her usual self and he thinks she's beautiful. Her gestures make him blush and he fidgets unnecessarily. Shirou takes a deep breath to calm down and it's not working. He needs Sakura now more than ever. ]

Sakura.

[He faces towards Sakura and looks her directly in the eye. With his arms he pulls Sakura into a hug selfishly. ]

Senpai...

[Her cheeks flush, and when embraces her, she relaxes and falls into it easily. Hesitantly, she raises her arms to hold him back as well, and as she breathes, her face so close to him, she can feel herself relaxing. Selfishly, she thinks this is why she wouldn't mind if their world itself was gone. As long as he's here with her, she's happy. This is all she really needs in the end.]

I'm glad that you're here.

Sakura?

[He really wants to reply with "I'm glad you're here too!" except she silences him from saying anymore. Shirou can feel his heart beating louder by the second. Sakura's breathing is distracting him and it makes him want to kiss her. Really, why is he hesitating so much? All he needs to do is kiss her right? Shirou lightly kisses her on the cheek.]

But despite them having been together for a while and gone much further multiple times before, it still sends Sakura's heart racing when she feels his lips brush against her cheek. She's embarrassed by how easily she reacts still, and she buries her face in his shoulder momentarily to hide how red her face is. Even in the midst of her embarrassment though, she thinks it must be unfair of her for her to not do anything in reply.

So as quickly as she can, she raises her head to shyly kiss Shirou on the lips before ducking back down again and hiding her face. Her heart's pounding so hard, she feels like she can't even speak without tripping on her words.]

[The moment Sakura kisses Shirou he tries to gasp in surprise. She returns his feelings and thinks this is less embarrassing because of that fact alone.]

I love you, Sakura.

[He says that with honest words. There's no one else around so he can say such a thing with a straight face. This is Shirou's way of showing Sakura he cares for her more than anything else in this world. Perhaps by doing this she'll feel less lonely. ]

[When he says those words, Sakura immediately relaxes, and even her racing heart begins to calm down. She can heart the sincerity in his words, so there's nothing to be embarrassed about. He loves her, and she loves him. What seemed like such a distant, impossible dream to before was reality, and she couldn't be happier about that.

So she presses her ear against his chest, holds him a little tighter. She feels warm, safe, loved—and that's all she could ever ask for.]
